Requirement
- Have a positive and open mind, some interest in what we do, as well as the urge to understand the unknown.
- Will or already have a Ph.D. degree (B.S. and M.S. degree for RAs) in physics, chemistry, optics, material sciences, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- Having experience in ultrafast spectroscopy or ultrahigh vacuum systems is a plus.
Graduate and undergraduate students are also wanted!!

Facilities
- Montana cryostation: (4-345K) for steady state PL, Raman, SHG, and time-resolved reflectivity/absorption, time-resolved MOKE.
- Attodry 2100 cryostation: (1.7-300K, 9/3/3T vector magnetic field) for steady state PL, Raman, SHG, RMCD&MOKE and time-resolved reflectivity/absorption, time-resolved MOKE.
- Time-resolved PEEM endstation: (100-1100K) for steady state PEEM (work function, CD contrast) and time resolved PEEM/Momentum microscope. Instrument will be delivered by December, 2023! (The first picture shows the laser optics being developed in the lab, and the other shows the PEEM instrument being factory tested at Clausthal, Germany).
